Philips Magical Paradise

Magically, appearing out of the horizon is Phillip's Magical Paradise as you travel east towards the town of Giroux on Provincial Road 311. A mysterious force insists that you must take the time to stop and tour Western Canadas only Museum of Magic and Illusion.

Even before you enter, the magic is around you. Look carefully, as the key to this magic castle might be found in the sidewalk. Once inside, you will possibly be the closest in life to Magics most inner kept secrets!

Magicians from around the world have donated magical books, posters, and apparatus to complement Philip Hornans collection of magic. Each display and every item has a magical story that can be told about it, or about the magician who donated it. Historically interesting, like the fifty cent piece that once belonged to the great Harry Houdini, to the R.C.M.P jail cell that Philip and his close friend, Dean Gunnarson, escaped.

However, magic requires volunteers, so be prepared to look through peep holes, have your hair stand on end, witness the transformation in the blue Room, and much more.

Your tour can long be remembered by visiting the gift and souvenir shop. As long as leave you will be taking a wealth of magic knowledge, and the only secret that you are permitted to reveal is:

To tell your friends to visit Phillip's Magical paradise.

Keep the Magic in Life

Formerly, this structure was the Giroux United Church, built in 1904. Its last service was held September 14, 1969. The Magic Museum is the result of our youngest sons dying request for the family to make a special room for all to see and enjoy in his memory of what he enjoyed doing most Magic; not a victim of cancer. With the help of friends and family we have all managed to make a wish come true. May it bring a feeling of Magic in your heart.

Always believe in the magic of your dreams.
